Virginia has been a Silicon Valley executive for over 20 years. She has an extensive background in finance, sales, marketing and general management across a broad spectrum of high-tech environments. She has worked in companies ranging in size from a billion dollars in revenue to startups, and in varied industries, including the telecommunications software industry, the business intelligence software industry, the biotech industry and the semiconductor industry.
Virginia has been highlighted in the San Jose Mercury News, Black Enterprise, CFO magazine and in the San Francisco Chronicle's business section as a "Guru" for her leadership among CFOs in the biotech industry and as a founder of the Association of Bioscience Financial Officers. Virginia received her Bachelor of Science in accounting from San Jose State University and has completed the Executive Management Program at Stanford University. She is a Senior Fellow (class V) in the Silicon Valley chapter of the American Leadership Forum.
